OUR STORY
We are two moms who became friends and turned our shared passion for design and events into Beyond Tablescapes. We create refined table designs that elevate gatherings into extraordinary experiences. With training in interiors and event design, we curate elegant place settings, glassware, and distinctive pieces, and also provide event styling services that bring artistry to every occasion.
Our purpose is simple: to craft intentional designs while making a meaningful impact. With each sale, we donate a portion to local charities that help feed children in need across the Philadelphia area.
MEET THE FOUNDERS

Lexi Dahlin has more than a decade of leadership experience in hospitality and event design, spanning corporate, academic, and private club environments. She has served as Director of Corporate Events at the Philadelphia Cricket Club and Director of Catering and Events at Haverford College, where she designed, planned, and executed hundreds of social gatherings, large-scale events, weddings, meetings, and intimate dinners for distinguished clientele — including CEOs, executives, celebrities, and university leadership, as well as meetings and events hosted by the President.
She brings extensive expertise in event planning, catering operations, vendor partnerships, and client relations. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and creative vision, Lexi integrates various design principles into her event work, curating polished, welcoming environments that consistently elevate the guest experience.

Katie Zahniser is an accomplished designer, marketer, and operations professional with extensive experience across the fashion, technology, publishing, and tourism industries. Her portfolio includes collaborations with leading organizations such as Comcast Corporation, Visit Philadelphia, and Nicole Miller.
Most recently, Katie worked as a Property Stylist with a local staging company, helping realtors and their clients prepare homes for photography and showings through in-person consultations and hands-on styling.
Her love of interiors and her ability to create inviting atmospheres for prospective buyers are evident in her work. Katie is passionate about helping clients and businesses express their style through thoughtful, strategic design choices.
